based Motorsport Wheels
LLC (MSW) has, until now,
focused primarily upon the
track-day and professional motorsport
community. They are suppliers of premium
branded alloy wheels and specialist
components required to safely
and competitively compete in national
and international motor racing events
… but that is all about to change.
Whilst many UAE businesses have
used the summer period to relax it
was all hands to the pumps at MSW
as the company busily prepared to
open their bright and modern performance
tyre & alignment centre and
workshop facility, conveniently located
behind Al Tayer Motors in Al Quoz
Industrial 1.
Jon Simmonds, M.D. and owner of
MSW commented, “We were obliged
to expand the business and relocate
to this fabulous new facility in order to
satisfy increasing demand from our
long standing and loyal customer base
for more mainstream automotive services,
such as performance tyres and
accurate 4-wheel alignment.
We identified a gap in the market
to service owners of premium vehicles,
such as AMG Mercedes, Ferrari,
Porsche and Lamborghini, many of
who appear frustrated with either the
lack of availability of tyres for their
vehicle or the service levels they
deserve. Our new facility provides us
with a venue to soon become Dubai’s
default destination for premium tyres
and wheel alignment services for owners
of sports, luxury, exotic and race
cars.”
The addition of these new services
will in no way dilute MSW’s focus on
the Motorsport side of business, they
are merely a natural extension of what
the company already does. Jon is a
genuine car and motor racing enthusiast,
and an accomplished racing driver
having won many races in various formulas
over the years. In fact, Jon is
the reigning UAE National Champion
for the Touring Car class. He is also a
real perfectionist and this is evident in
