The new 4C picks up award for ‘Best Sports Car 2013’ from the Spanish press

The Alfa Romeo 4C has won the ‘Best sports car 2013’ title in the fourth edition of the contest from ‘El Economista’, the economics-focused Spanish newspaper which confirms its interest in the automotive world, and one of the most important and active economic sectors.

The award was received by Luca Napolitano, CEO of Fiat Group Automobiles Spain, during the opening ceremony of the 2013 Barcelona Motor Show.  With more than 50% of the votes, the ‘compact supercar’ was awarded the title by the readers of ‘El Economista’, who enabled it to outshine prestigious competitors through online voting on the site of the paper. The ‘Best sports car 2013’ title is the latest valuable addition to a string of awards for a model which has not yet been launched on the market but has already found a place in the heart of motorists throughout the world. The Alfa Romeo 4C derives directly from the concept which raised many eyebrows in wonder at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2011.

The Alfa Romeo 4C is inspired by the century-old tradition of Alfa Romeo and projects the brand’s authentic values into the future: Italian style, performance and engineering excellence, offering maximum driving pleasure, satisfaction and in total safety.
