THE RANGE ROVER EVOQUE IS A very nice vehicle. I use the word vehicle because I’m not sure what else to call it. Too big for a car, too small for a 4x4 or even SUV. It could be a cross-over, somewhere in-between a car and a small SUV but in the UAE drivers don’t rush to the showrooms to buy a small-cross- SUV. In the land of low petrol costs we want road presence and large engines, Mercedes S Class and Toyota Land Cruisers. And why not, we couldn’t afford to run them anywhere near Europe.

In Europe, vehicles like the Evoque rule - taking command of country lanes barely wide enough for two bicycles the same way a Land Cruiser eats up Sheikh Zayed Road.

If you really fancy buying a Range Rover Evoque you have two choices: take summer in Europe and buy one over there, or, buy a custom designed one that can be your toy here in Dubai.

Signature Techniques, have the one that I would order. A.Kahn Design have been making great looking cars look greater for a long while now, based in Sheffield UK. In fact, we have Kahn wheels on the Auto Trader Jeep Wrangler.

A.Kahn Design have put their name and skills to the test with the Fuji white RS250 Evoque. Kahn vehicles always receive a great deal of attention. This is why you will see Kahn products in and around the smarter streets of London, New York and Shanghai. The common denominator is the Kahn brand. The seductive proportions of this vehicle will leave a distinct impression – allowing you to admire and appreciate its range of enhancements.

Highlights include a front grille with 3D mesh, vents in gloss black, LED daytime running lights for front bumper vents, headlight detail in gloss black, brake calipers finished in liquid gold, lower boot lid spoiler, tinted glass, rear bumper integrated vents and door entry sill plates in stainless steel.

Driving the RS250 Evoque means you sit behind the privacy glass and pilot the engine while listening to the Kahn cross hair exhaust system.

Centered around a radical design and interconnected in order to coalesce design and engineering expression, the Kahn twin crosshair exhaust system (in matt black) is a first cousin only to silence and manners.

Inside is the ‘bespoke touch’, and these particular vehicles come complete with seats in black leather, alcantara and red leather detail, diamond/quilted centre glove box with contrast stitching, transmission tunnel in leather with contrast stitching, red dials and vented foot pedals in aluminium

The company philosophy is to always give the customers what they want, so Afzal Kahn could for example, design you a vehicle with full colour change (to a colour of your choice) and an interior akin to, let’s say, your favourite leather reclining chair in your living room. Customers could also change the colour of the clock, or indeed, ask for anything else.

Kahn wheels sit perfectly, on any vehicle, conveying the essence of the vehicle’s identity. Created using state of the art manufacturing and materials technology, the 9X22” Kahn RS-XF wheels fit all original centre caps.

This toy is guaranteed to have cameras clicking as you pull up to valet at the Mall of the Emirates. Add a distinctive creation with ‘KAHN’ lettering on the bonnet’s leading edge: there’s nothing like the Kahn RS250 Evoque
